Dr. Spitz explores the link between a plant-based diet and improved sexual performance.
Dr. Spitz has been very involved in medical politics at both state and national levels, frequently advocating on behalf of urologists and their patients. He has testified before the California Assembly and regularly goes to Washington to meet with Senators and members of Congress.
In 2020, the American Urological Association (AUA), the premier professional urology association with more than 23,000 members worldwide, presented Dr. Spitz with The Distinguished Service Award for more than 12 years of outstanding service to the American Medical Association (AMA) setting urological clinical policies.
Dr. Spitz is Chairman of the American Urological Association's Telehealth Task Force. Dr. Spitz is leading urology’s nationwide push to use telemedicine for online patient visits, which has been truly beneficial for patients and physicians amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
